LoRA Dataset is free to use. You bring your own Google Gemini API key, and Google bills you directly for the images the model generates. There is no subscription, no credit card requirement on our side, and no paid tier today. Optional monthly contributions from supporters fund compute, safety review, and new features.

What is free and what you pay Google for
Everything the tool itself does is included at no charge. The only meter running is the Gemini API meter on your own Google account, which counts the images and text the model produces for you.

How bring-your-own-key billing works
When you paste a Gemini API key into the dashboard it is kept in your browser and attached to each generation request you start. Google meters those requests on the Google Cloud project that owns the key, at the rates published on the Gemini API pricing page. LoRA Dataset never marks up, resells, or proxies compute, so the amount you pay is exactly what Google charges for the model you selected.
Practical consequence: a dataset of twenty to thirty images costs whatever twenty to thirty image generations plus a handful of caption calls cost on your Google plan at the time you run them. You can check spend at any moment in the Google Cloud console, set budget alerts there, and revoke the key whenever you like without touching LoRA Dataset.
Optional supporter tiers
The project is community funded. Contributions are voluntary, monthly, processed by Stripe, and can be cancelled at any time. They do not unlock a separate paid tier; they pay for the servers that run the queue, the safety review work behind the report flow, and the time spent building new creator features.

Is there a team or enterprise plan?
Not today. There is no API access product, no seat-based plan, and no procurement paperwork to sign. If your studio needs shared characters, centralized key management, or an invoice for supporter contributions, email support@loradataset.com with your expected monthly volume and we will tell you honestly whether the current tool fits or whether you should wait.

Pricing questions
- Is LoRA Dataset really free?
- Yes. There is no subscription and no paid tier. The only cost is the Google Gemini API usage that Google bills to your own account when the tool generates images with your key.
- Do I need a credit card to start?
- Not for LoRA Dataset. You need a Google account with a Gemini API key. Google may require billing details on your Google Cloud project depending on the free quota available to you.
- Where is my API key stored?
- In your browser only. The key is sent with each generation request and is not stored on LoRA Dataset servers. Clearing your browser storage removes it.
- Can I use the generated images commercially?
- Yes, subject to the terms Google attaches to the model you used. You own the outputs you generate with your own key; LoRA Dataset does not claim rights over them.
